Functional Joints

  1. Load a static .c3d file into the workspace
    loadstatic_modelstab.jpg
  2. Create the F_RHIP
    1. In the Models Tab
    2. Click the Landmarks Button
    3. Select the Functional Tab
    4. Select F_RHIP from the dropdown
    5. Click Create

  3. Select tracking targets
    1. RPV targets
    2. RTH targets
    3. Click Build Model Close
    4. Close tab

  4. Click Post Processing Button

  5. In Post Processing dialog
    1. Open motion trial
    2. Select motion trial (when selected it should be higlighted in blue)

  6. Specify Start Frame
    1. Find the start frame of the functional activity using the blue slider on the bottom
    2. Select the functional landmark (when selected it should be highlighted in blue)
    3. Click Set START Event to Current Frame

  7. Specify End Frame
    1. Find the end frame of the functional activity using the blue slider on the bottom
    2. Select the functional landmark (when selected i should be higlighted in blue)
    3. Click Set END Event to Current Frame

  8. Click Compute All Landmarks
  9. Results will pop up
  10. Click OK
  11. Close the dialog box
  12. The functional right hip landmark should appear in the 3D viewer
