example files]] page. ====== steps ====== ===== step 1. load data ===== click on the load cmo library buttonr3dloadcmolibrary2.png at the top left hand side of the screen. navigate to the iorgaitfoot folder, which can be found in the demo section of the report3d file folder. the path should look somthing like this: c:\program files (x86)\c-motion\report3d\demo\iorgaitfoot select the iorgaitfoot folder. ===== step 2. check the data ===== |before moving forward, check that the data has been loaded properly. there should be two loaded cmo files, sub_003_iorfoot and sub_21_iorfoot (1). there should be four c3d files for each cmo. one will be a static and the other three will be movement files (2). there should be three options in the library tags drop down (3), namely: dynamic, static, and global. there should be a dozen options in the library events (4), namely: end, start, left foot off, left foot strike, lhs, lon, lto, rhs, right foot off, right foot strike, ron, and rto.|lerstep2.png| ===== step 3. enter filter parameters ===== |in the cmo query workshop window, expand the filter section and make sure that you are on the add tab.\\ \\ in the filter name dialogue box (1) enter the name dynamicfilt. this is what the filter will be called.\\ \\ in the tag section move the tag dynamic from the all tags list to the added tags list using the top arrow (2). doing this means that the filter will only use trials that are tagged as dynamic.\\ \\ in the subjects section move the subject sub_21_iorfoot from the all subjects list to the added subjects list using the top arrow (3). doing this means that the filter will only use data from the cmo file named sub_21_iorfoot.\\ \\ click on the add filter button (4) at the bottom of the filter section to create the filter.|cfstep3annotated.png| ===== step 4. modify a filter ===== |if you notice that you have made a mistake, or wish to alter the parameters of a filter it must be done using the modify tab. the modify tab allows you to alter the three fields (filter name, tags, and subjects) that were set step 3. once changes are made clicking on the modify filter button at the bottom of the tab saves the changes you have made.|cfstep4.png| ===== step 5. remove a filter ===== |if you wish to remove a filter that you have created go to the remove tab. select the filter that you would like to remove from the which filter drop down menu (1).\\ \\ when the correct filter has been selected (in the example to the right the selected filter is "dynamicfilt") click on the remove filter button (2) at the bottom of the tab. the filter will be immediately deleted.|cfstep5.png| }}}}}}}}
