 +C3D Parameter FORCE_PLATFORM:CHANNELS
 +
+This parameter contains the channel numbers of the signals recorded from the force platform
 +
+Each Force Platform has ANALOG Channels assigned to it. One challenge to interpreting this is that the channel number refers to the order of the channels as they are stored in the file, not in the alphabetical order displayed in the Visual3D Data tree. These signals are expected in order ( e.g. the numbers refer to the order of the channels stored in the C3D File, which can be seen by the order in the ANALOG:LABELS parameter.)
 +
+There are a number of parameters that are unique to each force platform type. The channels expected for the different force platform types are:
 +
 +Type 1
 +
+CHANNELS= Fx, Fy, Fz, COPx, COPy, FreeMoment
 +Type 2
 +
+CHANNELS= Fx, Fy, Fz, Mx, My, Mz
